During this sixth annual KOMA festival taking place in Brno´s Káznice, we have had the opportunity to see history of this uncommon sad spot through memories of man who served there during WWII.


A prison guard Kristian Novotný has noticed on pages of his memories hard times of Czech prisoners in Protectorate uncertain time. Their dreary destinies have encouraged us to address particular artists to transfer selected passages of memories into illustrations and comics forms.
